Dar es Salaam

Check in at hotel. Overnight in Dar es Salaam

Mikumi Safari Lodge

Breakfast. Drive to Mikumi National Park. Check in at Mikumi Safari Lodge. Lunch at the lodge and evening game drive

Day 3

Mikumi National Park 

Breakfast at the lodge. Full day game drive at Mikumi National Park. Picnic lunch at the park. Overnight at Mikumi Safari Lodge

Day 4

Udzungwa National Park

Breakfast at the lodge. Hiking and picnic lunch at the beautiful Udungwa National Park. Overnight at Mikumi Safari Lodge

Day 5

Iringa Town

Breakfast at the lodge. Drive to Iringa, the region for Ruaha National Park. Enjoy the stunning views of the meandering great Ruaha river. Arrive in Iringa town at around noon for lunch in one of the hotels in town. Visit the old historical town, market, world war graves and the local shops. 2.5 hour drive to Ruaha. Dinner and overnight at Ruaha Hilltop Lodge

Day 6

Ruaha National Park

Breakfast at the lodge. Full day game drive and lunch at Ruaha National Park - the largest National Park in Tanzania. Dinner and overnight at Ruaha Hilltop Lodge

Day 7

Ruaha National Park (part 2)

Breakfast at the lodge. 3 Hour walking safari in the National Park. Game safari until evening. Dinner and overnight at Ruaha Hilltop Lodge

Day 8

Mufindi Farm Lodge

Breakfast at the lodge. Drive to Mufindi and visit the tea farms. Picnic lunch and fishing at Nnwazi Lake. Dinner and overnight at Mufindi Farm Lodge

Day 9

Mufindi

Breakfast at the lodge. Cultural tour of the Mufindi region. Lunch at the lodge. Evening walk/fishing on the farm ponds or by river. Dinner and overnight at Mufindi Farm Lodge

Day 10

Dar es Salaam

Breakfast at the lodge. Leave for Iringa airport and fly to Dar es Salaam. Dinner and overnight at a hotel

​

Day 11

Flight back home or Zanzibar (ask for the Zanzibar itinerary)
